Matt Champion, a former member of the forward-thinking rap collective BROCKHAMPTON, has announced his debut solo album, Mika’s Laundry, which arrives March 22 via RCA.
The LP — co-produced with Henry Kwapis, Dijon, and several other close collaborators — takes place within a dystopian world and includes both of his previously released singles, “Aphid” (feat. Dijon) and “Slug,” as well as “Slow Motion,” out today, which taps BLACKPINK’s JENNIE. Like his last two singles, Champion collaborated with director Anna Pollack to create a surreal video, one that represents his “idyllic future,” to accompany the skittering, heartsick song.
