So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
MICHAEL HEAD & THE RED ELASTIC BAND “CIAO CIAO BAMBINO”
Former Pale Fountains and Shack frontman Michael Head is back with this new single produced, like last year’s Dear Scott, was made with Bill Ryder-Jones. Says Head, “’Ciao Ciao Bambino’ came to me one night when I was thinking about the first words I ever heard. It was a song called ‘Ciao Ciao Bambino’ that my mum used to sing to me when I was a baby. The song then kinda evolved from there and became a journey through time.” Fans of Pale Fountains will dig the horns here.

Kevin Krauter and Nina Pitchkites release their new EP as Wishy on December 15, and they’ve shared a final advance single, “Spinning,” an appealing dream pop track. “This song is purely about self-discovery and letting yourself have fun even in the midst of uncertaint,” Pitchkites says. “I wrote it during a time of confusion in my early 20s. I was very inspired by the jangle-pop nature of The Sundays, which is a band that inspires a lot of my songwriting.”

Hard-to-Google Baltimore duo @ (at) have announced a new EP titled Are You There God?
