Atlanta emo band Microwave have announced a spring North American tour. They’ll be out following a hometown festival set at Shaky Knees, with shows starting on May 7 in Buffalo and running through June 8 in Philadelphia, stopping in Chicago, Denver, Seattle, San Francisco, Phoenix, Austin, Dallas, NYC, Boston, and more. They’ll be joined by a great support lineup of Origami Angel, Heart Attack Man, and Carpool Tunnel, and you can see all dates below.
The NYC show is at Brooklyn Steel on June 5. Tickets to that and all dates go on sale Friday, February 9 at noon local, with an American Express presale starting Tuesday, February 6 at 10 AM.
Origami Angel released one of our favorite punk albums of 2023, The Brightest Days, in June, and Heart Attack Man released the great Freak of Nature in May. Microwave’s most recent release is last year’s single “Ferrari.”
