Nation of Language just opened LCD Soundsystem’s four-show run at Knockdown Center as part of the Tri-Boro Tour, and now they’ve announced their own NYC residency. They’ll play three consecutive nights at Bowery Ballroom on March 2-4. “Each night will have a different set list – we’ll be adding in some songs we’ve never tried live before, and others that haven’t been played in a very long time,” say the band. “We’ll also be having different opening acts for every show, so each one will really be its own special event.”
Tickets go on sale Friday, December 15 at 10 AM.
The band, who released their third album this year, also have a Boston show in May and are on the lineup for London’s All Points East Festival in August alongside LCD, Jockstrap, Pixies, and more. All dates are listed below.
Meanwhile, Nation of Language’s Ian Devaney and Aidan Noell, who are married, were also featured in The New York Times’ Sunday edition recently for a Lifestyles article titled “How Married Indie Pop Musicians Spend Their Sundays.”
