Florida’s Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is taking 2024 off, Okeechobee News reports. A statement from the founder of Soundslinger, which owns the property the fest has been held on, Sunshine Grove, reads, “As owners and safekeepers of our beautiful land, Sunshine Grove, Soundslinger cares deeply about the community that it witnessed come together in those first few years of OMF from 2016 onwards. We are working hard to keep OMF close to its original roots in a big way and reignite the sparks. Those formative years were special to all of us. Hang tight and remember to always Be, Here, Now.”
The festival has not released an official statement about the news, but it was confirmed with Insomniac Events by EDM.com, and reported by The Festive Owl.
Okeechobee held its 2023 edition in March with ODESZA, Baby Keem, Griz, Excision, Earth Wind & Fire, Goose, Turnstile, Free Nationals, Indigo Do Souza, JPEGMAFIA, Princess Nokia, Sherelle, Big Boi, Channel Tres, Hippo Campus, Inner Wave, Local Natives, Mall Grab, Soul Clap, Tkay Maidza, and more.
