OSEES plowed into Brooklyn’s Warsaw for two shows this past weekend, which were almost exactly a year since their last visit to the venue. The setlists between Friday and Saturday’s shows were significantly different, with only about a third of each sets’ songs played at both, including “The Dream / The Daily Heavy,” new album Intercepted Message‘s title track, and Smote Reverser‘s proggy “C,” which closed both shows.
John Dwyer had technical difficulties on Saturday night and told the crowd his voice had had better nights, but their two-drummer-powered energy never flagged, nor did the crowd, which stayed at a rolling boil all night. Check out setlists and video from OSEES’ two Warsaw shows below.
These were among the first shows at Warsaw since the venue underwent renovations. The biggest difference is the bar accepts cards now, but the place has been spiffed up (including the bathrooms), the balcony expanded, but otherwise still feels like the same club.
