Sacramento’s Aftershock happens in a couple of weeks, on October 5-8 and Discovery Park, and scheduled Saturday headliner Pantera have dropped off “due to circumstances beyond our control.” “This event is monumental and it pains us to have to miss it,” the band writes in a statement. “We will however be back for Aftershock 2024! A sincere thank you to Danny Wimmer Presents as well as all the fans around the globe who’ve supported the 2023 Pantera celebration. We will see you all at Louder Than Life this weekend and Aftershock next year!”
Stone Temple Pilots have been added to the Aftershock lineup on Thursday (10/5), where they’ll perform alongside Incubus, The Cult, AFI, Pennywise, L7, White Reaper, Senses Fail, The Bronx, Pinkshift, SeeYouSpaceCowboy, and more.
Aftershock 2023 also features Godsmack, Tool, Limp Bizkit, Megadeth, Coheed and Cambria, The Hu, Deafheaven, Converge, and more on Friday; Turnstile, Korn, 311, Corey Taylor, Dethklok, and more on Saturday; and Queens of the Stone Age, Guns N’ Roses, Rancid, Movements, Jehnny Beth, and more on Sunday.
