POISON RUIN
Pitch-black punks Poison Ruin have announced a tour in support of their new album Harvest, hitting Richmond, Nashville, Memphis for Gonerfest, NOLA, Knoxville, Louisville, Cincinnati, Atlanta and DC. Before that, Poison Ruin will play a free show at Union Pool on 9/3 as part of the venue’s Summer Thunder series.
BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & THE E STREET BAND
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street‘s tour was set to continue tonight (8/16) at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park for the first of two shows (the second was scheduled for Friday, 8/18), but both have been postponed due to illness, hours before Bruce was set to take the stage.
HARMONY (EX-GIRLPOOL)
Former Girlpool member Harmony is playing select Dystopia Girl shows in September and October: NYC’s Baby’s All Right on 9/6 and L.A.’s The Virgil on October 5.
FRED ARMISEN
Fred Armisen has added more shows to his Comedy for Musicians but Everyone is Welcome tour, including a Jersey City show at White Eagle Hall on September 14 at White Eagle Hall. That show, like his 9/13 Bowery Ballroom show, is with Annie Hart.
SOUL REBELS BLUE NOTE GUESTS (RAKIM, JA RULE, MORE)
The Soul Rebels have announced their special guests for their four-night run at NYC’s Blue Note: Rakim, Big Daddy Kane and Tony Woods on 9/21; Ja Rule on 9/22; G-Easy on 9/23 and Louis Cato, Elena Pinderhughes, Ray Angry and James Carter on 9/24. The Soul Rebels also play the Blue Note on 9/11 with Chris Dave. All dates here.
HARM’S WAY
Harm’s Way’s new album Common Suffering arrives in September and they just announced a headlining tour with Fleshwater, Ingrown, and Jivebomb.

Wild Nothing will promote upcoming album Hold on a short fall tour.

A Beacon School just announced new album yoyo and will celebrate its release with a show at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere Zone One on October 26.
CASCINE NIGHTS IN L.A. & NYC
Indie label Cascine Records has announced special shows in NYC (10/12 @ Baby’s All Right) and Los Angeles (10/16 @ El Cid) with performances by Pearly Drops and NOIA, along with DJ sets from Nassir Nassirzadeh and Lana.
TOMMY STINSON’S COWBOYS IN THE CAMPFIRE
Replacements bassist Tommy Stinson‘s twangy current project Cowboys in the Campfire have announced East Coast dates for September including Cambridge, NYC, Pittsburgh, DC and more.
DOWNTOWN BOYS
Downtown Boys have announced their first tour in a few years, in Europe in September. Ahead of that, the band will play a NYC warm-up show.
