Last year, Seattle post-hardcore/post-punk greats Pretty Girls Make Graves announced they were getting back together to play the 2024 When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas, performing their 2003 album The New Romance in full. They’ve now announced that before the fest, they’ll play a warm-up show in Seattle at The Showbox on September 20, which will be their first show in 17 years.
Tickets for the Seattle show go on sale Friday, February 16 at 10 AM Pacific. Will their be more dates? Stay tuned.
Matador Records gave The New Romance a 20th anniversary edition last year (first time on vinyl since its original pressing) and you can listen to that below.
