Quicksand will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their classic debut LP Slip on tour in North America this fall, and they’ve just revealed openers for the run. Glitterer (the project of Title Fight bassist/co-vocalist Ned Russin) will open the first leg of dates in late October and early November on the East Coast, and Hotline TNT (Will Anderson’s shoegazy noise pop project) joins them for the second leg in late November and early December on the West Coast. See updated dates below.
The NYC show with Glitterer is at Webster Hall on November 5, and tickets are still available.
Glitterer released an EP, Fantasy Four, last year, and Ned recently talked to Texas Is The Reason’s Norman Brannon for the re-launched version of his classic ’90s hardcore fanzine Anti-Matter, during which he touched on how Title Fight have been inactive since 2018 without announcing a breakup or hiatus.
Hotline TNT signed to Third Man Records earlier this summer.
Members of Thursday, Thrice, Cave In, Rise Against and more told us about the enduring influence of Slip.
