In the tradition of holy blues priests like Reverend Gary Davis, that’s irreverent freak priest. With 17 releases, Rev. currently plays mostly acoustic solos but has recently recorded with some fantastic musicians including Melvin Seals, Mark Karan, Chris Parker, Hugh Pool, Jay Collins and the Grammy nominated G. Love and The Reverend Sean Amos.
Exclusively premiering on the new album is the video for “All I Got Is Now,” an upbeat blues track with a “carpe diem” theme and deep grooves.

The pastor has served as a member and featured soloist in the Metro Mass Gospel Choir, performing at venues including Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, and the Town Hall Theater. The pastor also spent three years singing blues and hymns on off-Broadway Sundays on Tobacco Road, a New York City hippie hangout filled with drug addicts, prostitutes and music freaks.
His music has appeared in numerous television shows and commercials, as well as national radio ad campaigns. Raised in Hawaii, he holds a degree in Philosophy and Religion from Northeastern University in Boston, and currently resides in Colorado, where he is ordained and holds a Master of Divinity degree from Naropa University.
As he continued to perform and preach, he declared: “Music is my religion. Through song I seek transcendence!”
