Having revealed that she would be retiring Lingua Ignota and its catalog this year, Kristin Hayter has announced her debut album as Reverend Kristin Michael Hayter. SAVED! is due out October 20 via Perpetual Flames Ministries, and Hayter worked on it with her longtime collaborator Seth Manchester. It features her renditions of gospel standards along with original tracks; according to a press release, “high-fidelity recordings of each song were committed to a 4-track recorder, and then further degraded in a series of small half-broken cassette players.” See the cover art and tracklist below.
The first single is the intense “ALL MY FRIENDS ARE GOING TO HELL,” which is accompanied by a video filmed, directed, and edited by Hayter.
