Ride and The Charlatans kicked off their 2024 Between Nowhere tour on Thursday night in San Francisco. Like last year, Ride are playing Nowhere in full and The Charlatans are playing Between 11th and 12th in full. That doesn’t leave a lot of room for other songs, but Ride had a two-song encore that kicked off with the debut of a brand new song, “Peace Sign.” Andy Bell and Mark Gardner shared lead vocals in the band’s signature harmony style and it sounds great. Watch video of that below.
More excitingly, Gardner intro’d the song by saying “This is coming out in January…we think.” Ride are due for a new album and played other new songs on tour last year. They also just posted a photo from the studio on their socials, writing, “We have some news coming very soon” with a Peace Sign emoji, encouraging fans to sign up for their mailing list. Will there be an album announcement with that as well? Stay tuned.
The Between Nowhere tour hits NYC at Webster Hall on January 18. All dates are listed below.
