Rage Against the Machine were forced to cancel their tour with Run the Jewels in 2022 after Zack de la Rocha injured his leg in Chicago, towards the beginning of the run. A year later, and Run the Jewels are now in the midst of the Los Angeles portion of their 10th anniversary tour, playing each of their albums in full at multi-night runs in a few cities. For their second night at Hollywood Palladium on Thursday (10/12), playing Run The Jewels 2, they brought out Zack (who El-P has called the “unofficial third member” of RTJ) for the album track he features on, “Close Your Eyes (And Count to Fuck).” Zack is back on his feet, which is great to see, and you can watch attendee-taken video below.
RATM will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on November 3.
Run the Jewels wrap up their 10th anniversary tour in Los Angeles on Saturday (10/14). See pictures from night 4 in NYC below.
