FINNOGUNS WAKE – “LOVERS ALL”
Finnoguns Wake, the new band from former Royal Headache frontman Shogun, are gearing up to release the Stay Young EP and here’s another song from it. “Lovers All” features lead vocals from the group’s other songwriter, Finn Berzin.

PACKS – “PAIGE MACHINE”
PACKS new single was inspired, lyrically, by Mark Twain. Says Madeline Link: “Twain invested in a printing device called the Paige Compositor, spent his life’s savings on it, and it worked almost perfectly. It would have been revolutionary, but then the inventor, Paige, took it apart to tweak something, make the machine work even better, and it never worked again. They say that this failure led to Mark Twain’s decline.” PACKS’ third album, Melt the Honey, is out in January.

SAVE FERRIS – “XMAS BLUE”
Of Save Ferris’ first new original song since 2017, the band’s Monique Powell says, “I wrote the song about someone I knew that went through a hard divorce, and even two years later was still so obsessed with his ex-wife that it was borderline stalking. I’m excited to give this present to fans as a warmup for what is to come in 2024 with all new music that I’ve been working on and is ready for release!”

GHLOW – “BIG CITY”
Swedish duo GHLOW have announced new album Levitate which will be out March 8 via PNKSLM Recordings. First single “Big City” is not a Spacemen 3 cover but a fuzzed-out original.

BRAIN CAVE – “NEOLOGISM”
Post-hardcore band Brain Cave have announced a new album, Foot Off The Gas, due February 16 via Head2Wall Records. Here’s the snarling, riffy new single “Neologism.”

TR/ST – “ROBRASH”
TR/ST, the gothy electro project of Robert Alfons, has signed to Dais Records, which seems like a good fit, as the label’s roster also includes ADULT., Xeno & Oaklander and Choir Boy. His first outing for Dais is “Robrash” and is the kind of dark-n-slinky banger you want from TR/ST.
