Spencer Krug (Wolf Parade, Sunset Rubdown) has announced a new album, I Just Drew This Knife, which will be out October 13. He made the album with Eli Browning and Jordan Koop, working remotely during the pandemic. “These songs were written, arranged, and produced in full collaboration with Eli Browning and Jordan Koop,” Spencer says. “A true group effort, this album is as much theirs as it is mine.”
The album’s first single and opening cut is “Cry All Day,” a nice slab of high-drama art rock, and you can listen to that below.
Krug, Browning and Koop will take I Just Drew This Knife on the road in October, including a NYC show at TV Eye on 10/27. Tickets for all shows go on sale Thursday, August 10 at 10 AM local time, and all dates are listed below.
