STEVE MARTIN / MARTIN SHORT
Best buds, comedy legends, and Only Murders in the Building co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short are currently on their “You Won’t Believe What They Look Like Today!” tour, hitting Philly, Red Bank, Baltimore and more this fall, and they’ve just announced 2024 “The Dukes of Funnytown!” tour dates including Buffalo, Atlantic City, Red Rocks, and more. BONNIE ‘PRINCE’ BILLY
Will Oldham has added a few 2024 Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy shows in Florida to his tour schedule, hitting Jacksonville, St. Petersburg, Orlando, and Miami Beach in January. He’s on tour now and will be in NYC in November for two shows with Mekons’ Jon Langford at Joe’s Pub on November 15 and 16 (early and late) and right before those, he’ll present a screening of the Keeping Secrets Will Destroy You visual album at Anthology Film Archives on November 14. DESTROYER / LIGHTNING DUST
Dan Bejar will head out on a Destroyer solo tour of North America in 2024, with West Coast dates in March and East Coast / Midwest dates in April. It’s not totally solo, as he’ll be accompanied by frequent collaborator/producer David Carswell, and opening all shows are fellow Vancouverites (and Black Mountain offshoot) Lightning Dust.
PORTUGAL. THE MAN
Portugal. The Man’s “Winter of Summer of Luv” tour now runs through February of 2024.
THE MAVERICKS
Americana greats The Mavericks have announced a North American spring tour that will roll through the South and Southwest, with stops on Tucson, Fort Worth, Birmingham, Miami, and more. They’ve also got a few Midwest dates in April. Meanwhile, the band are on tour now as well. Head here for all dates.
JASON ISBELL & THE 400 UNIT
Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit have been on tour throughout the year supporting this year’s fantastic Weathervane, and it looks like that won’t be changing any time soon. They have shows scheduled until August of 2024, including dates supporting Zach Bryan, and they’ve added new headlining dates with Aimee Mann in February.
JOSH RITTER ‘HELLO STARLING’ 20TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR
Josh Ritter is currently celebrating the 20th anniversary of his third album Hello Starling on tour in the UK and Europe with his Royal City Band, and he’s just announced a North American leg that kicks off February 5 in Burlington, VT and concludes February 17 in Boston.
MACHINE HEAD
Machine Head have announced the winter 2024 leg of their “Slaughter The Martøur” tour, with North American dates starting on January 19 in San Francisco and running through February 24 in Los Angeles. They’ll be joined by Fear Factory, Orbit Culture, and Gates to Hell for the shows.
DANNY BROWN
Danny Brown has finally announced a date for his new album Quaranta, and he’s got shows coming up too.
KARI FAUX
Kari Faux wraps up her tour in November and has now added a NYC show after, happening at Baby’s All Right on December 8.
OTOBOKE BEAVER / DRINKING BOYS & GIRLS CLUB
Japanese punks Otoboke Beaver will return to North America on tour in 2024, as they celebrate their 15th anniversary as a band. They’ve announced February and March dates with South Korean three-piece Drinking Boys and Girls Club, beginning in Seattle on February 20 and ending in Orlando on March 30.
DROPKICK MURPHYS
Dropkick Murphys have announced the 2024 edition of their annual St. Patrick’s Day week shows in their hometown of Boston, MA. Pennywise will join them for four of the shows, plus additional openers to be announced.
ALKALINE TRIO
Alkaline Trio have announced their first album in six years and a tour.
MARC MASTERS – ‘HIGH BIAS’ BOOK TOUR
Music writer Marc Masters recently released new book HIGH BIAS: The Distorted History of the Cassette Tape. He’ll be going on an East Coast tour to promote it which hits Brooklyn at Record Grouch on October 28.
TROMBONE SHORTY & ORLEANS AVENUE / THE SOUL REBELS
New Orleans jazz great Trombone Shorty has announced an early 2024 tour that has him out with The Soul Rebels. Dates include NYC-area shows at Kingston’s Ulster PAC on 2/23 and Port Chester’s The Capitol Theatre on 2/24.
HELADO NEGRO
Helado Negro’s new album Phasor is out February 9 via 4AD and he’ll support it with a tour.
HOVVDY
Hovvdy have announced a few “unplugged” dates in December, hitting Los Angeles, Chicago and Nashville before wrapping things up at Brooklyn’s Public Records on 12/15.
SEA RAY
Late-’90s / early-’00s NYC band are reissuing their second album on vinyl and have announced their first show in 19 years.
DYLAN LEBLANC
Dylan LeBlanc releases a new album this week, Coyote, and he’s now announced a tour in support, kicking off January 17 in New Orleans and wrapping up March 2 in Austin. The NYC stop is at Baby’s All Right on January 25.
SASAMI (DATES WITH YEULE, YEAH YEAH YEAHS, MORE)
SASAMI is pulling double duty on yeule’s tour, playing in the band and serving as opener, and she’s also got dates with Yeah Yeah Yeahs in Boston, Philly and Toronto. In the midst of the YYYs run, SASAMI will play Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on November 10. All dates are here.
