The Replacements are in the air this year, with the great new remix of Tim, and now with Creep Records’ new tribute LP, Let The Bad Times Roll, A Tribute To The Replacements. “December 2022 I was drinking at the Fishtown Tavern and ‘Can’t Hardly Wait ‘ came on the jukebox, and at that moment I knew this tribute to the Mats needed to happen,” says Arik Victor from Creep Records. “The next day, we invited all the bands we love.”
The punk-leaning tribute features covers by Mikey Erg (The Ergs!), The Color Fred (Fred Mascherino, formerly of Taking Back Sunday and Breaking Pangaea), Her Head’s On Fire (Garrison, Small Brown Bike), Timeshares, Jon Snodgrass, Crossed Keys, Sammy Kay, Low Coast (Gameface), Tired Radio, Neckscars, and more. There’s a lot of cool stuff on there, and you can hear the whole thing early now; a full stream premieres below.
