Eternal Champion and Sumerlands, two retro-metal supergroups who share multiple members with each other (and tons of other bands), have announced a co-headlining Brooklyn show happening February 25 at Music Hall of Williamsburg (presented by Saint Vitus), before the two bands leave for a Europe tour together. Support comes from fellow retro wailers Legendry and Drifter. Tickets are on sale now. Check out the flyer and music from all four bands below.
For Sumerlands, this will be their first NYC show since releasing Dreamkiller on Relapse in 2022. Eternal Champion last released Ravening Iron in 2020 (and last played here in the summer of 2022).
“This is our first NYC show post Dreamkiller, also Legendry’s first gig post release of the BADASS LP Time Immortal Wept,” Sumerlands writes. “Hyped to see Drifter for the first time and hyped to kick off a year of many Eternal Champion and Sumerlands gigs together. At the legendary MUSIC HALL OF WILLIAMSBURG.”
