superviolet, the new project from The Sidekicks vocalist Steve Ciolek, released one of our favorite albums of 2023 so far, Infinite Spring, in April, and he recently began a tour supporting it, which hit Brooklyn on Tuesday night (8/15) for a show at The Sultan Room. It was the fifth show ever for the band Steve’s put together, which includes Sidekicks drummer Matty Sanders and Saintseneca’s Zac Little, both of whom played on the album and most recent single “Waver.” They sounded fantastic as they played that and all ten album tracks. Former LVL UP vocalist Dave Benton went on before superviolet with a solo set of new material from his Trace Mountains project, and Darryl Rahn opened the show. See pictures from the whole night below.
