The David Tattersal Group, the new group from The Wave Pictures frontman, will release their self-titled debut album via Bella Union Private Press on October 6. Django Reinhardt and country are influences musically, here, while Tattersall’s literate style remains ever-present in the lyrics. There are also covers of Townes Van Zant’s “Kathleen” and Jimi Hendrix’s “Midnight Lightning.”
