After their set at Newport Folk Festival and before their Positive Jam Fest in Accord, NY, The Hold Steady stopped in Long Island for a show at RJ Daniels last Thursday (8/3), part of the Shine A Light Music Series. The series is a benefit for the Tommy Brull Foundation, a nonprofit that helps people with special needs. Wormburner opened, and you can see pictures from the show by Kurt Christensen below.
The next show in the Shine a Light series is with Kevin Morby, on Sunday, August 27 at Madison Theatre at Molly University in Rockville Centre, NY. Tickets are on sale now.
The Hold Steady will be back in the NYC area this fall for a show at White Eagle Hall on September 22. Tickets are still available.
