The Hold Steady wrapped up the eighth year of their four-show Massive Nights run at Brooklyn Bowl on Saturday (12/2) with an opening set from Real Young and Lazy Horse (other openers this year were Scott Lavene on 12/1, Katy Kirby on 11/30, and Sincere Engineer on 11/29). After a high energy Hold Steady set, Craig Finn and venue owner Peter Shapiro each gave speeches to end night four, talking about how much the tradition means to them, and passing out shots to the crowd in tribute to a Brooklyn Bowl employee who had passed away.
