For our Spring 2024 Issue, the band uncover the greater meaning behind their new album, Submarine, which takes inspiration from Krzysztof Kieślowski’s 1993 drama Three Colors Blue. “The blue was representing this grief and loss, but as the movie went on, it started representing hope and aspiration for the future — and that’s how this album process happened for us,” María reveals.
