The Rolling Stones announced their 2024 North American tour last week, and following the start of the fan presale today, they’ve added an additional NYC-area show at East Rutherford, NJ’s MetLife Stadium on Sunday, May 26. That’s a few days after the previously announced show at the same venue, on May 23, and they say it’s the “second and final show” at MetLife this run. Tickets are on presale now, with the general public on-sale beginning Friday, December 1 at 10 AM local.
The tour, which includes New Orleans Jazz Fest on May 2, begins in Houston on April 28 and runs through May and June, wrapping up on July 17 in Santa Clara, CA. See updated dates below.
Rolling Stones’ not-bad-at-all comeback album Hackney Diamonds came out in October, and they celebrated with an intimate NYC show at Racket. For their 2024 shows, they say they’ll play the hits, “fan favorite deep cuts,” and some Hackney Diamonds material, plus they’ll have a “new stage.” Stay tuned.
The band has also shared a lyric video with “unseen studio footage” for Hackney Diamonds track “Bite My Head Off” featuring Paul McCartney; watch that below.
