Earlier this summer, ’90s comedy troupe The State announced a reunion show in Denver as the kickoff to the “Breakin’ Hearts & Dippin’ Balls Tour.” They still haven’t announced a full tour, but they have just added shows in NYC, where they formed, happening at Palladium Times Square on October 16 & 17. Tickets for those shows go on sale Friday, August 18 at 10 AM local time.
Like in Denver, these don’t appear to a full State reunion, but feature David Wain, Ken Marino, Michael Ian Black, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Thomas Lennon, Joe Lo Truglio, Kevin Allison, and Michael Patrick Jann. Not on the poster: Michael Showalter (no “Doug”?!?), Robert Ben Garant, and Todd Holoubek.
The Denver show is on August 30. Let’s hope there are more dates still to be announced.
