Julian Casablancas‘ other band, The Voidz, have announced a trio of NYC shows this fall to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right, the re-opening of Murmrr Theatre, and Halloween. They happen on October 31, November 1 and 2 at Murmrr Theatre, and tickets go on sale Friday, September 8 at noon EST.
A message on their Instagram reads, “in the shadow of the Williamsburg Bridge, stands the guardian of underground music in NYC, a venue of the immortals: Baby’s Alright. To celebrate the 10th year since its inception and birth — a Grand Heralding is to be had (lain) in her honor….. The Voidz will return to New York to re-christen the mysterious Murmrr Theatre, who’s dark and grandiose halls have spent years in silence, a silence to be BROKEN starting on All Hallow’s Eve 2023 for THREE NIGHTS.”
The Voidz played their first US shows in three years in San Francisco in June. These are their only upcoming dates at the moment.
The first show at Baby’s All Right was a BrooklynVegan CMJ day party on October 18, 2023.
