Chico, CA’s The Wind-Ups are the project of Jake Sprecher who likes to mix sludgy punk and power pop. Released late last year via Mt. St. Mtn, Happy Like This is his sophomore album and packed with super-catchy, pleasingly messy earworm rippers. You can listen to the album below.
Jake is taking live band version of The Wind-Ups on the road this spring for an East Coast tour. The Brooklyn stop is Union Pool on March 30 with glammy French punks Les Lullies, plus Wyldlife, and Loosey. Earlier that day, they’ll perform live on WFMU. All dates are listed below.
