Following her debut project Whack World and a string of singles, EPs and many eye-popping videos over the last few years, Tierra Whack has announced a new album, World Wide Whack, which will be out March 15 via Interscope. “I really took my time with this, so I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do,” Tierra says.
Full details on the album have not been revealed, but Tierra has shared the cover art, designed by Alex De Corte, who directed her “Dora” video. Here’s a little more about the artwork via the press release: “With references including Pierrot, the original sad clown of 17th-century Italian theater, radical 1930s fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli, and Donna Summer, Alex Da Corte’s cover art represents the first reveal of the WORLD WIDE WHACK character, an alter ego both untouchable and vulnerable, superhuman and painfully human, whose surprising story will unfold in images and video over the course of the album’s visual rollout.”
As to that album rollout, new single “SHOWER SONG” will be out Friday, January 26. In the meantime, check out the covert art and recent single “Chanel Pit” below.
