Tirzah was set to begin a short North American tour tonight (10/12) in Los Angeles, but she’s cancelled her trip after coming down with pneumonia. In a message on Instagram, she writes, “I am so sorry to say a persistent cough has now developed into pneumonia so I’m unable to travel right now. It’s with a heavy heart that I have to cancel my October headline shows and III Points in Miami. Thanks for understanding and sorry again. I will be back soon x.”
Tirzah’s tour had been scheduled to wrap up in NYC at Knockdown Center on October 22, part of the venue’s Outline series, with Erika de Casier and Nabihah Iqbal. That show is going ahead with a changed lineup; Knockdown Center writes, “We hope to announce a lineup update very, very soon and will accept refund requests for anyone wanting them after we’ve made that announcement.” Stay tuned.
