Tirzah has released her new album, trip9love…???, on digital platforms ahead of its physical release on November 17th. Stream the full project via Apple Music or Spotify below.
The UK artist worked with producer and longtime musical collaborator Mica Levi on trip9love…???, writing and recording the record over the course of a year at both their homes and parts of South East London and Kent. Its tracks were put together by using piano loops on top of one beat before adding distortion and romantic vocal toplines.
This similarity between the instrumentals makes the album feel like a singular, cohesive body of work. With lyrics centering on themes of love — both real and imagined — the LP is described as finding space in a “lazy club fantasy zone.”
Last week, Tirzah teased the follow-up to 2021’s Colourgrade with a cryptic Instagram post. Pre-orders for the vinyl and CD release of trip9love…??? are ongoing.
