Tom Ford Beauty has some new products coming out this summer and I think they are pretty amazing! The recent launch of the Shimmer Eyeshadow Quad and the Summer Soleil de Feu range reminds me of what Tom Ford Beauty used to be like! Fresh, shiny, easy to wear and great color pay off.
I bought 3 products from the Soleil de Feu collection, including an eyeshadow palette from Tropical Dusk ($90), a shimmery highlighter from Oasis ($95), and one of Sun Spark’s volumizing lip balms ($60).
I also want to include two newer eyeshadow palettes ($90 each) in Golden Hour and Hazy Sensuality. I bought these a few months ago and never reviewed them, but I 100% think they are worth a look (there are 3 new ones and I bought 2).
Soleil de Feu Eyeshadow Palette
There are two types of eyeshadow palettes launched in summer. I opted for the more neutral Soleil de Feu eyeshadow palette in Tropical Dusk. It’s really pretty and wearable in soft dusty matte pink, soft dark brown, shimmery copper gold, and a shimmering sequined taupe top. The colors have very good pigment and tint payoff, and the textures blend easily. The warmer option, Island Haze, also looks beautiful. I would love to buy it, but opted to only buy one this round.
Soleil de Feu Glitter Highlighter
We probably all already have a lot of highlighter at this point. I am always amazed whenever I find a product that impresses me, and the Tom Ford Oasis highlighter is simply amazing. It is a neutral warm champagne gold with slight peachy undertones. The shimmer isn’t overpowering – it goes on smooth, doesn’t accentuate pores, and the undertone is perfect for olive skin tones! I’m sure it will look great in cool tones too.
The texture is almost like a gel to powder. Pigments are easy to control and layer. I really try not to make backups these days, but this one is so perfect I’ll probably order another copy before it’s gone.

Soleil de Feu Rich Lip Balm
For lips, Soleil de Feu Rich Lip Balm comes in two shades. The stock photos are a bit misleading as the exterior of these photos are oversprayed with glitter making the balm look nothing like the real color. I saved money on Sunlight by doing a lot of reviews on these products before ordering (many people reported that it wasn’t golden, but was very pale, almost like the color of a concealer).
I am 100% happy with my Sun Spark purchase. It looks like a bold orange cherry red with gold flecks. To me, it’s a much lighter shade, almost like a neutral light-medium soft peach.
The outer shimmer didn’t show at all, even on the hand swatches, and I’m 100% satisfied with that. It wows when you open the tube, but with one swipe it’s gone.
The balm does seem to have a slight plumping effect, but no stinging or stinging. To me, it feels somewhere between a lip balm and a lipstick. It’s moisturizing and comfortable on the lips, but it’s not as glossy or emollient as traditional lipsticks. For me, this makes it feel like it stays on the lips longer. Very expensive, but I think the color is really beautiful.
New four-color eye shadow
Finally a quick look at the Hazy Sensuality (neutral/light shades) and Golden Hour (warm peachy) eyeshadow palettes. Both have a finely milled pressed metal finish like the Nude Dip/Honeymoon. Pigment is in medium transparency but easy to layer for more color pay off. I’ve been wearing Golden Hour a lot this summer.
I give both an A+ rating. I actually gave everything I bought on this post an A+, which I haven’t had in a long time (for Tom Ford good looks). It’s unbelievably expensive, but all the colors perform really well, and as a neutral makeup lover, I think the colors are perfect. They’re durable but very different from what we’ve seen lately and can give you a fresh and elegant look.
I made a tutorial on Golden Hour in this scroll below:
Bottom line: This season is 100% worth the splurge.
