Following a high-energy performance of the track at this week’s VMAs, TOMORROW X TOGETHER and Anitta have officially released their collaborative single, “Back for More.” Stream it below.
The K-pop act made a splash Tuesday night on MVT with a performance that included dynamic water visuals, upbeat choreography with the Brazilian superstar, and the group’s ever-reliable live vocals. The live take on the track — and their first time performing at this awards ceremony — began with a solo introduction from Beomgyu, and later saw all five members launch into a dance break with details and flourishes that felt inspired by Michael Jackson. Earlier in the night, TXT also took home a VMA, snagging the 2023 trophy for Push Performance of the Year.
“Back for More” arrives ahead of a new album from TXT, our spring cover stars — The Name Chapter: FREEFALL will be arriving next month, on October 13th. It’s a more mature direction for Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai, who seemed to bid their youthful chapter and days as Neverland’s Lost Boys farewell with their spring EP, The Name Chapter: Temptation.
It’s been a busy summer for the quintet — the past few months included a collaboration with the Jonas Brothers, along with a history-making headlining set at Lollapalooza. Meanwhile, Grammy-nominated Anitta dropped Funk Generation: A Favela Love Story, a slight but thoughtfully constructed EP that paid tribute to her Brazilian roots.
It’s not too late to snag a copy of our limited-edition cover story box set, which includes all six group and individual TXT covers, stickers, and more exclusive goodies. Shop the box set here.
