Machine Girls will spend Halloween with a special performance at New York’s Webster Hall. This is their only show right now.
Nick Harkin
Nick Hakim, who will be camping in New York for much of November, has announced a residency at Blue Note on November 14-15 and 28-29, nightly at 8:30 and 10 pm. Nick is also currently on tour with Big Thief and plays in Kingston, NY on Wednesday (7/19). He will also support Weyes Blood in August. All dates are here.

The Menzingers have announced a tour with an all-round terrific supporting cast including Microwave, Cloud Nothings and the Rodeo Boys. It’s a 29-part hike across the US and Canada that will take place in November and December.
citizen
In support of their upcoming album call the dogCitizen will embark on a lengthy North American tour this fall with Narrow Head and Modern Color, followed by a European/UK tour in 2024.
scream/soul side
DC punk icon and Discord label scream and soul race A fall tour has been announced, with west coast shows in late October and early November and east coast shows in early December.
x
X had to reschedule part of their US tour, and new dates have now been announced. These events will take place in late summer, including a performance by the Squirrel Nut Zippers. They also have a date with The English Beat.
Daniel Avery
Shoegazing electronic producer Daniel Avery announced several West Coast shows ahead of his appearance at San Francisco’s Outside Lands Festival, with shows in Portland and Los Angeles. His only date in the US is at the III Points fest in Miami in October. All dates are here.
Angel Du $T
Angel Du$t announces new album, new soulto be booked through Pop Wig on September 8, along with a lengthy North American tour including with Candy, Restraining Order, Bib, Dazy, Loosey, Mary Jane Dunphe, Steve Marino, TV Star, Object of Affection, Missing Link and 9 Millions of gigs, varying by date.
Rhys Darby
New Zealand comedian and actor Rhys Darby will be on tour this fall with a second night at Brooklyn’s Bell House on August 24th. (His 8/25 shows are sold out.) He also has dates in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, and more.

Walkmen Adds More Fall Dates to 2023 Reunion Tour, Including Dallas, Boston and Two New York Area Shows
Neil Young
Neil Young is on his coast tour, his first in four years, with solo shows on the West Coast until the end of July. He’s now announcing a new, very intimate Los Angeles show this fall at the Roxy on September 20th. It’s the 50th anniversary since he hosted the venue’s opening night in 1973, and the first show announced at the venue’s 50th anniversary celebration.
bobby weir and wolf brother
Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros (starring Don Was, Jay Lane and Jeff Chimenti) are touring this year, including as part of Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Festival. They just added some headlines in Philly, Columbus, Charlottesville, Burlington, Baltimore and more.

Beth Orton has announced a US tour in September with Pneumatic Tubes and Ben Sloan, dates subject to availability. The tour began September 7 in Fairfield, Connecticut and concluded with a two-night stay at the Masonic Lodge in Los Angeles.

Brooklyn rapper Kota The Friend has announced his first North American tour, the “Flowers For My Friends” tour.This trip follows his release Protea The LP will be released in June via FLTBYS/Venice Music and kicks off in the fall with stops in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Seattle, Minneapolis, Toronto and more.

Coheed & Cambria’s multi-talented Claudio Sanchez revives his solo folk-electronica project Pro Fighter Hell urban introvert LP release in 2021 and now he announces his first tour.
heaven lathe
Brooklyn band Lathe of Heaven, whose sound is full of early ’80s post-punk (The Chameleons, Killing Joke), has just signed with Sacred Bones, which will release the group’s debut album, bound by the bare sky, September 1. They will also tour this summer and fall.

A Great Big Pile of Leaves returns with a new album “Pono” in 2021 after 8 years and now announces a homecoming show.
Union Pool Summer Thunder
Union Pool has announced the rest of its lineup for the 2023 free-to-play Summer Thunder series, which will run from Sunday afternoon through Labor Day weekend. These include Sun Ra Arkestra, Cass McCombs, Fenne Lily and more.
squirrel flower
Chicago musician Ella Williams’ project Squirrel Flower has announced a new disc, tomorrow’s fire, expires October 13 via Polyvinyl. In addition to the album, Squirrel Flower has announced a massive international tour, including a North American tour in the fall and early 2024, with a UK/EU tour in between. Prior to that trip, she will open for Hurray For The Riff Raff, and Truth Club, Merce Lemon, Knifeplay, Goon, Cryogeyser and Alexalone will also perform with her on various dates.
