From Joe Pernice’s desk: “Joe will be doing some small solo shows in unconventional, private settings. We have a print shop near Albany, NY; That’s it, because Joe is hard at work on a new record, which will be out on the New West next year. We’re excited about it. He’ll be playing a mix of old and new material at these shows.”

In tribute to Taylor Swift, Les Savy Fav has announced the Errors tour, which so far has mainly taken place in Europe, including shows in the UK, Portugal, Wales, Spain, Italy and Luxembourg. On August 17, they will host a very intimate New York show with friend Marnie Stern at The Knitting Factory NY in Baker Falls, and say more dates and new music are on the way.
Flat Bush Zombie
Flatbush Zombies announce a tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their second mixtape, die better. During November and December, the walking tour will travel through eight U.S. cities, starting in San Francisco and ending in Anaheim.
New York Rising 2023
New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced the return of the Rise Up NYC series, which will feature eight free hip-hop and R&B concerts in all five boroughs in July and August.
Runner/June Sun
Runnernner and Sun June will join forces on a US tour this fall with two shows in New York: Mercury Lounge with Caroline Says on November 4th and Baby’s All Right with Greg Mendez on November 5th. There are also performances in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, Nashville, Atlanta, Austin, and more.

Chvrches’ Lauren Mayberry has announced her first solo tour — and don’t worry, the band isn’t broken up yet.
strange ranger
The Strange Ranger Just Released a New Album pure musicand will tour later this summer.
Hannah Diamond
London-based pop and visual artist Hannah Diamond has announced her first major North American show, with shows in Montreal, New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
alkaline trio
The Alkaline Trio have announced new headlining tour dates, centered around their appearances at the Is For Lovers Festival in Hawthorne Heights and Pennsylvania’s Four Chords Festival, their first announced headlining gig since longtime drummer Derek Grant left the band and was replaced by Atom Willard.

Canadian heartland rock band Arkells to tour this fall in support of upcoming album laundry pile Opener Robert Deron. US dates include Albany, Buffalo, Philadelphia, Jersey City (White Eagle Music Hall, Sept. 30), Brooklyn (Warsaw, Oct. 2), Detroit, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles and more.

Gary Canino returns with a new “Dark Tea” single (listen below) and two dates: Genghis Cohen in LA with Felt Genetix (Sam France of Foxygen) on August 11 and Lady Appletree in Alphaville in Brooklyn on October 1.

Electronic whiz Julianna Barwick had a show in New York ahead of her appearance at the Making Time ∞ music festival outside Philadelphia.
Super Deluxe Room
New York City’s Ultra Deluxe just dropped a new EP called Task and will tour this summer and fall.
