i am avalanche
Brooklyn’s I Am the Avalanche, which is wrapping up appointments with Bayside and Koyo, also has several shows in the Northeast this weekend, Friday in Providence and Saturday (July 29) with Common Sage and HEAVYHEX at Brooklyn’s Saint Vitus. All dates are here.

The Velocity Girls will reunite in September for the 30th anniversary of the DC Black Cats, and they will make the most of their experience with a show in New York.
MESHELL NDEGEOCELLO
Meshell Ndegeocello has a variety of club gigs and festivals on the horizon and she will perform at Jersey City’s White Eagle Hall on August 30th, just before departing for Paris in September. Head here for Meshell’s full itinerary.
Paramore
Paramore has rescheduled this week’s shows in San Francisco, Seattle, Portland and Salt Lake City until August due to illness among tour members. “The last thing we want is to postpone a show we’ve been looking forward to for months,” they wrote. The new date is here.
Devore
Devo has added fall West Coast dates to their “Celebrating Anti-Evolution’s 50th Anniversary Farewell Tour,” including Paso Robles (CA), Seattle, Portland, Del Mar (CA), San Francisco and Los Angeles. All those West Coast dates were for DeVoe’s appearance at the Dark Waves festival.
Ethel Kane
Ethel Cain announces new dates for her ‘Blood Stained Blonde’ tour, which she says will be her last in support of her 2022 debut record missionary’s daughter. The new dates start in October, following a string of late-summer festival events. Support on the road comes from 9Million, Skullcrusher, Midwive, Wulven and King Woman, which vary by date.
