Baltimore’s Turnstile have long been touted for their innovative ethos and creative energy, one which has paved the way for a new wave of hardcore. From their groundbreaking albums to undeniably powerful live shows, they’ve transformed the genre’s audience into one that is growing, diverse, and global. Having harnessed the overlap between alternative music and skateboarding in style, they’re taking another ambitious step forward — announcing their very own collaborative capsule with Converse.
The two-sneaker, limited-edition drop features a Converse Chuck 70 and One Star Pro, inspired by Turnstile’s album art and the band’s personal style. Recalling motifs from GLOW ON, the bold Chuck features translucent detailing, a custom license plate, and a “floating orb” graphic. The leather One Star Pro leans heavily into the skateboarding silhouette, with a thoughtful CONS traction outsole, lockdown fit for skaters — fused with the shimmering baby pink of their 2021 album cover.

True to form, given their long history with the music industry, Converse continues to recognize an artist’s own style. Not only have they worked together to put forward footwear that feels inherently Turnstile, but to celebrate the launch of the collection, the band shot the campaign video in Baltimore, their birthplace and home.
Converse x Turnstile will be available globally at Converse.com and select retailers beginning on Jan. 25.
