Nigerian R&B singer, Anthony Ebuka Victor, also known as Victony, has graduated from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, FUTO.
The ‘Soweto’ hit-maker in a post via official Twitter account on 2nd of August, announced that he’s bagged a degree in Engineering.
Victony shared a throwback photo alongside a recent one to celebrate his tumultuous journey and status as a graduate.
He revealed that he wrote his final papers on August 2, “Last papers today. Me & my niggas graduating a real big W”, and he uploaded another photo of his sign out shirt, with the caption; “Engineer ebelebe 1”
Fans trooped to his page to congratulate the singer as he joined his colleagues in their last day at the federal institution.
It may be recalled that early this year, he went back to the university to do his IT project defense in a bid to inspire youths to always see education as a priority.
Victony had announced via Twitter that he had a show and IT defense just 24 hours apart and he would attend to both of them.
He kept to his words and stormed the FUTO a day after his concert, thereby causing a buzz on campus. The singer was captured in a video arriving at the school premises rocking a brown suit and black shoes. He was with a bodyguard who escorted him into the hall while other students tried to get close.
