Wicca Phase Springs Eternal (aka Adam McIlwee) released his new self-titled album in June, and he’ll celebrate its release in Brooklyn next month with an event he’s calling Eternal Twilight at Warsaw on September 9. The lineup for the show includes French producer and vocalist Coucou Chloe, darkwave duo Death Bells, NYC witch house vets White Ring, DJ Chaotic Ugly (of Machine Girl), Los Angeles emo-rapper and GothBoiClique member Døves, Toronto-via-Nigeria electronic artist, rapper, and singer Debby Friday, and Fleshwater vocalist Marisa Shirar’s solo project MIRSY. He also promises “special guests, tarot readers, magicians,” and more. Tickets are still available.
Wicca Phase held the Los Angeles Eternal Twilight event on Saturday (8/5), which featured Provoker, Dana Dentata, 3L3D3P, Døves, 60 Juno, and Darcy Baylis.
Wicca Phase also opens Balance and Composure’s 10th anniversary show for The Things We Think We’re Missing in Austin.
We talked to Adam on the BrooklynVegan podcast about the new album, his time in Tigers Jaw, his late collaborator Lil Peep, and more. Listen to that below.
