Fast-rising sierreño trio Yahritza y Su Esencia recently announced West Coast/Southwest dates for their first-ever tour, and now they’ve added stops in Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Austin, NYC, DC, and more, and they say even more dates are being announced soon. The newly-added dates go on sale Friday (9/1) at 10 AM local.
The NYC stop is on November 2 at Irving Plaza. All dates are listed below.
Yahritza y Su Esencia put out their breakthrough debut album Obsessed last year, and singer Yahritza Martinez became the youngest Latino artist (at age 15) to ever crack the Billboard Hot 100 with “Soy El Único.” They appeared on Grupo Frontera’s new album El Comienzo (on the song “Frágil”), and now they’ve revealed that a new EP called Obsessed Pt. 2 is coming September 8. That EP will also include “Frágil,” as well as the trio’s recent singles “Inseparables” (ft. Ivan Cornejo), “Cambiaste,” “No Se Puede Decir Adiós,” and “Nuestra Canción,” along with three not-yet-released songs.
