Every BTS fan knows the evolution of Vs style: from cutting random holes and trimming hems in his own clothes, styling his own airport outfits, to widening the collection of his favorite couture brand, Gucci. What’s remarkable about V is that his style is both diverse and consistent. And people can say that he doesn’t need to try too hard because he was born with his own style and personality, always appearing in all eyes.
BTS‘s V was born to be a model. Here are just of the many times he wore designer outfits even better than the runway models did!
1. Beautiful in brown
V turned the red carpet into his own personal runway when he wore this outfit to SBS’s Gayo Daejeon in 2019.
This leather jacket is part of Berluti’s Spring Summer 2020 Men’s Fashion Collection. It is designed in brown tones, is made of leather and is hand-engraved. In addition, the outfit is also designed with a vest with a plaid pattern worn inside and combined with a collared shirt with colorful motifs.
2. Rockstar flair
During the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA), V wore a Celine outfit on the red carpet. Rock artists and retro outfit with denim jeans, plaid vest and a red flower bodice.
This is an outfit from Heidi Slimane’s CELINE’s Spring/Summer 2020 Men’s Fashion Collection. The collection combines casual wear with bold workwear and rockstar flair.
Although the model wore it beautifully, there’s no denying that the outfit was in fact for V.
3. Sweater weather
This outfit is from PRADA’s Fall/Winter 2019 Collection. It’s vampire-inspired with a head-to-toe black design but paired with a bright red wool cardigan. The original model wore the outfit without any bra underneath.
Meanwhile, V wore this outfit with a white shirt at the 2019 Melon Music Awards (MMA). Even if he doesn’t dress like the original, he still drives fans crazy with his handsomeness and cute smile.
4. A blast from the past
Not ashamed to be the Gucci Boy, BTS V has always managed to make the most difficult outfits of the most prestigious fashion house in the world Gucci. If you were thinking that this unusual combination of solid orange and purple would be difficult to wear and that not everyone would be able to wear it well, you are (mostly) right. But it was an exception for V, he wore this GUCCI Spring/Summer 2021 outfit with great beauty, even more than the Gucci model.
V wore it for BTS’s 2021 Season’s Greetings package. The guy showed off his 70s vibe by ditching his jacket and tie and adding his personal flair.
5. Woman’s outfit
V is proof that fashion is “genderless”, he does not hesitate to wear women’s outfits when filming MVs or performing on stage. During a performance at KBS’s Gayo Daechukje show, Taehyung confidently put on a dress on stage under the surprised eyes of fans and the media. Not long after, the origin of this dress was quickly dug up, it turned out that this was a product in Fendi’s collection, priced at up to $2,180
Looking at the shirt he wears with his ethereal beauty, who can really say that he’s not as pretty as a woman?
6. Dashing for DICON
Givenchy’s bold red outfit from the Fall/Winter 2020 Men’s Collection is not for the timid fashionista…
7. Gorgeous in green
V perfectly matches every outfit color, from red to blue. The emerald green suit worn by V in BTS’s “Dynamite” music video is part of GUCCI’s Pre-Fall Men’s Collection. As soon as V wore this suit, it became a craze.
8. Leather Flare Trousers
One of the most awkward outfits V ever wore was the one he wore when he performed Butter on Music Day. The outfit consists of a wool crop top and leather pants that don’t seem to be related at all. In addition, the leather pants are designed with a wide leg at the bottom. So it will be very difficult for someone to show the beauty of their clothes, including their models.
But V’s face and style have made this design so special and nothing can be more beautiful. From his face to his aura, the outfit is so much more beautiful.
9. LV Gang
Recently, BTS was invited to be LV’s House Ambassadors. Luis Vuitton also recently launched the Men’s Fall – Winter 2021 Collection.
