Alex G went from self-releasing records on Bandcamp, to signing to the small DIY label Orchid Tapes, to signing to the bigger indie label Domino, and now he’s on a major label: RCA Records. No word yet on his major label debut, but stay tuned.
Alex G will be opening for his RCA labelmates Foo Fighters on their stadium tour this summer, and he’s also playing NYC’s Governors Ball. Along with the signing, he announced a headlining tour with support from julie. Tickets for the headlining dates go on sale Friday, January 26 at 10 AM local with presales beforehand.
