Though niche genre music festivals are becoming increasingly common, Ocean City, Maryland’s Oceans Calling festival is here to remind us that people are still putting together lineups that are all over the place. blink-182, The Killers, and Dave Matthews Band are the headliners, and the rest of the lineup ranges from the aughts-era retro rock theatrics of The Darkness and The Hives to more pop punk from The Offspring and The All-American Rejects to more ’90s radio rock from Counting Crows, Barenaked Ladies, and Sugar Ray to popular ska-adjacent stuff like Sublime and 311 to The Beach Boys to Boyz II Men and beyond. Oceans Calling runs from September 27-29 at Ocean City Inlet Beach, and tickets go on presale starting Thursday, February 29 at 10 AM ET, with a general sale to follow at 11 AM ET.
