no one embodies DC Much like skateboard rider and streetwear icon Lucien Clarke, he’s also the creative director of the beloved label. In this month’s collaboration, DC Shoes has teamed up with its own CD for a line of rugged OG skate styles, debuting Clarke’s eponymous label, the DCV’87.
The Jamaican-born, London-raised creative has been through many lives, proving his talents as a powerful force in streetwear and luxury fashion. This highly personal collaboration, DC×DCV’87is a tribute to Clarke’s roots and to the dynamic intersection of style, performance and fashion that brought him here.

Filmed in Clarke’s Jamaican birthplace with DC and Palace skateboarder Kanin Garner and photographer Julian Klincewicz, the project resulted in a rich and unpretentious collection that showcases DC’s heritage combined with Clarke’s Jamaican roots.The project provides DCV’87 Lynxa unique combination of Bobcat Zero upper and Lynx OG The sole comes in a black and brown colorway with warm suede blocks.
After DC hired Clarke in 2022, the first project highlighted the chemistry between DC’s heritage and the skater’s creative vision. “DCV’87 is a collaboration between my mind and skateboarding,” said Lucien. “My brand really has no limits, it’s never tied down, just open to creativity.”
