Grateful Dead offshoot Dead & Company, which had Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann joined by John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti, and Oteil Burbridge, wrapped up what they said was their final tour back in July, but now they’ve confirmed that they’ll be doing more shows after all, at Las Vegas’ Sphere. They made the announcement in a video on social media, and while dates haven’t been revealed yet, Rolling Stone reports that they’ll do at least 15 shows at the Vegas venue.
Back in December, New York Post reported that Dead & Co were in talks to follow U2’s residency at Sphere, which currently runs until March. Phish will also play four shows there in April.
