Jayson Green (Orchid, Panthers, Violent Bullshit, more) has a new project, Jayson Green & The Jerk, who will be releasing a new 12″ this Friday (1/12) via DFA. The songs were co-produced by LCD Soundsystem‘s James Murphy and Midnight Magic‘s Andrew Raposo. They haven’t shared any music from it yet, but Jayson released “Too Much Beauty” under The Jerk moniker and you can listen to that below.
To celebrate the single’s release, Jayson Green & The Jerk will be making their live debut on Wednesday, January 10 at Baby’s All Right with Stuart Bogie x Korey Richey Duo on the bill as well. The live lineup is a nine-piece band made of musicians from the DFA universe:
