DEAP VALLY
LA rock duo Deap Vally have announced new record SISTRIONIX 2.0 and a tour and both will be their last. “We’re just going to go to play as many places as we can and say farewell to everyone,” Julie Edwards says. “Though the band is playing live for the last time, the door is open to us to collaborate. Now we’re all about re-establishing a workflow and connection around our friendship, after all we’ve shared together along the way.” Opening along the way will be L.A. Witch, Spoon Benders and Sloppy Jane who will be on the NYC show at Le Poisson Rouge on February 17. All dates are here.
GOGOL BORDELLO
Gogol Bordello will again bring their annual New Year’s run to NYC and Philadelphia in December.
PHISH
Likewise, Phish will be in NYC for NYE again this year, too.
PATTI SMITH
Patti Smith is keeping up her tradition of celebrating her birthday with a NYC show.
FOUND FOOTAGE FESTIVAL
Nick Prueher and Joe Pickett are loading up their van with VHS obscurities for a Found Footage Festival fall tour. Dates kick off Friday in Austin and they’ll hit Dallas, Kansas City, Atlanta, Asheville, Woodstock and more. They’ll take a couple weeks off then hit the West Coast and Midwest with shows in Seattle, Portland, Chicago, Minneapolis, and more.
BAR ITALIA
London trio bar italia just announced they’re releasing a second album this year, and they’ve announced even more North American shows.
THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM
The Gaslight Anthem have announced some intimate record release shows for their long-awaited new album History Books.
LYDIA LOVELESS
Lydia Loveless’ new album is out this week and they’ve just announced a tour, with US dates beginning in November and December of 2023 and continuing through February of 2024.
OAK RIDGE BOYS FAREWELL TOUR
Country legends the Oak Rige Boys, whose hits include “Elvira” and “Bobbie Sue,” are hanging up their collective hats after 60+ years but will head out on a farewell tour before they do.
LADYTRON
Icy UK synthpop band Ladytron kick off their North American tour this week with shows in NYC (Irving Plaza on 9/20), Los Angeles (9/22 at Belasco) and San Diego (CRSSED fest on 9/23). They’ll then have more dates in November after Austin’s Levitation fest. Head here for all dates.

Daniel Higgs (Lungfish, Fountainsun, etc) is playing this weekend’s Woodsist Festival in Accord, NY and he’s got a few other Northeast shows around it, including 2 at Brooklyn’s Union Pool.
ALL THINGS GO FEST
DC-area festivalAll Things Go happens on September 30 at October 1 at Merriweather Post Pavilion, headlined by Maggie Rogers and Carly Rae Jepsen on Saturday and Lana Del Rey and boygenius on Sunday, and they’ve announced set times.
AL MENNE
Great Grandpa lead vocalist Al Menne releases their debut solo album, Freak Accident, this Friday and they’ve just announced NYC and L.A. release shows.
