It’s been 14 years since Laura Groves released her self-titled debut LP, Blue Roses, and now she’s finally back with a new full-length album to her name, red radio, will be available for pre-order (pre-order) through Bella Union on August 11. (She’s also put out a few EPs/singles, made music as part of Nautic, and collaborated with artists like Lost Horizons and Wilma Archer.) New single “D 4 N” combines ethereal folk with minimal electronics. The product comes together, and it features the gorgeous harmonies of Sampha (whose 2017 album process Laura also accompanies).
Laura says: “‘D 4 N’ is about the promise and possibility of escaping, and the problems that catch up to you after you think you’ve pushed them away. I often feel the pressure to maintain a strong exterior – this song is Reminds us to keep jumping over barriers and find joy in dreaming, living and sharing what we have for ourselves and each other.”

Sampha recently released his first single in six years.
