MASSIVE ATTACK
Massive Attack have announced their first live show in five years — a hometown show in Bristol, UK on August 25, which they are doing in support of climate change awareness. The band say “The Bristol Downs show next Aug will be the lowest carbon event of its scale ever staged, and Massive Attack fans will play a vital role in that achievement. Art and music can lead the way on climate action & climate justice, but our own house must be in order first.” Details here.
KING GIZZARD OPENERS (GEESE AND MORE)
King Gizzard & The Lizard have announced openers for their 2024 North American tour. Most dates are with Geese, including the two NYC shows at Forest Hills Stadium on August 16 & 17; those are also with King Stingray, who are also on part of the tour. DJ Crenshaw is the other opener on these dates.
ALVVAYS
Alvvays have announced 2024 tour dates in continued support of 2022’s great Blue Rev. Dates begin April 18 in Cleveland and move across the Midwest to the Southeast and then the Southwest.
SLOWDIVE / DRAB MAJESTY
Slowdive have announced 2024 dates with Drab Majesty after Sick New World fest, and are playing cities they didn’t make it to on their 2023 tour, including three Texas shows, and TN’s The Caverns.
LAND OF TALK
Land of Talk have announced tour dates in support of this year’s Performance.
KILBY BLOCK PARTY 2024 LINEUP
Salt Lake City’s Kilby Block Party has announced it’s awesome 2024 lineup which includes LCD Soundsystem, Vampire Weekend, The Postal Service, Joanna Newsom, Brazil’s CSS (first US show in 11 years), Wu-Tang Clan, Death Cab for Cutie, Interpol, Belle and Sebastian, Courtney Barnett, Alvvays, Dinosaur Jr. and more.
PANCHINKO
UK shoegazers Panchiko announced a 2024 tour with They Are Gutting a Body of Water, Glare, Weatherday, and Wisp.
P!NK / SHERYL CROW
P!NK has extended the Summer Carnival Tour into 2024 with a full schedule of late summer and fall North American dates with Sheryl Crow, The Script and KidCutUp opening. Stops include NJ’s Metlife Stadium on October 3.
ETHEL CAIN
Ethel Cain has announced her first few shows of 2024, including big NYC and LA dates in June.
ORCHID
Even at a time when it feels like every band reunites, here’s one that seemed like it might never happen: screamo legends Orchid are back! The band says, “Five friends in a room playing the music they created together stepping on stage for the first time in over two decades.” They’ve announced shows in Boston, Philly, and Brooklyn, and an appearance at Toronto’s Prepare the Ground festival.
BETTER LOVERS (EITD, DEP)
Metalcore supergroup Better Lovers (Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato, three members of Every Time I Die, and Will Putney of Fit For An Autopsy and END) have announced a spring 2024 tour of North America with support from SeeYouSpaceCowboy, Foreign Hands, and Greyhaven.
AMON AMARTH / CANNIBAL CORPSE / OBITUARY / FROZEN SOUL
Swedish metal greats Amon Amarth have announced their biggest North American trek to date. The Metal Crushes All Tour 2024 has them out with Cannibal Corpse, Obituary and Frozen Soul, and dates begin April 21 in Albuquerque. They hit the NYC area at Montclair, NJ’s Wellmont Theater on May 9.
GWAR
GWAR will return to the road in March on their “campaign to bring befuddlement to the masses.”
EL PERRO DEL MAR
Sarah Assbring will bring El Perro Del Mar to North America in March 2024 in support of her new album Big Anonymous, playing Seattle, Boise (Treefort Fest), San Francisco, LA, Chicago, Philly, Brooklyn (Public Records on 3/28), and DC. All dates except LA, Brooklyn and DC are with Vera Sola.
JULIA JACKLIN
Julia Jacklin will be supporting Mitski on tour in 2024, and around those dates she’s announced more intimate solo residency shows in NYC, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.
TAKING BACK SUNDAY
Taking Back Sunday will support their new album 152 on a spring/summer North American tour with Citizen.
HOT WATER MUSIC
Hot Water Music have been going strong since 1994, and they’ll celebrate their 30th anniversary with a spring/summer tour in 2024. They’ll be joined by heroes and friends, including Quicksand, Off With Their Heads, and Tim Barry (of AVAIL), varying by date, plus a NYC show that features Quicksand, Modern Life Is War, and The Ergs!
MATT PRYOR (THE GET UP KIDS)
The Get Up Kids’ Matt Pryor has announced four “an evening of songs & stories” shows to support his upcoming memoir, Red Letter Days.
ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN
Echo & The Bunnymen have announced a North American leg of their “Songs to Learn & Sing Tour,” which promises “the very best” of the band. Dates begin in Austin on May 7 and head east before the band make their way back to the West Coast, wrapping things up in Rancho Mirage, CA.
ADAM ANT / THE ENGLISH BEAT
Early-’80s greats Adam Ant and The English Beat are joining forces for a 2024 US tour. The 40-date trek hits most major US cities beginning March 21 in St. Louis and wrapping up May 10 in Phoenix.
HOODOO GURUS
The Aussie alt-rock greats will be back in the US in September.
THE FEELIES
The Feelies have announced a few 2024 Northeast shows.
MICHAEL SHANNON, JASON NARDUCY & FRIENDS PLAY R.E.M.’S MURMUR
The “Michael Shannon, Jason Narducy & Friends Play R.E.M.’s Murmur” happens in February and they’ve added more dates.
THE DANDY WARHOLS
The Dandy Warhols have announced a 2024 North American tour. Dates are in March, beginning in Boston on 3/4 and coming to an end in Los Angeles on 3/19.
LIMP BIZKIT
Having announced 2024 festival dates including Welcome to Rockville and Sonic Temple, Limp Bizkit will stay on the road for their US summer “Loserville” tour. They’ll be joined by BONES with Eddy Baker & Zavier Wulf, N8NOFACE, and Corey Feldman for the shows, which will also have Riff Raff as host and MC.
