So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.
INFANT ISLAND – “UNRELENTING”

EL PERRO DEL MAR – “KISS OF DEATH”
“I think of the album as a journey into the Underworld and back,” El Perro del Mar says of her new album Big Anonymous. “‘Kiss of Death’ is about returning to the world of the living, scarred but with the insight of how close death is. —
YOUNG JESUS – “THE WEASEL”
Young Jesus have shared a new song made with producer Shahzad Ismaily for FX’s Murder At The End of The World. It’s a pretty eerie track and here’s what bandleader John Rossiter says about it: “This tune is shrouded in mist for me. With Albon’s bass frequencies cloaking the song, it feels a bit like The Beatles playing at a burial. And that is what it is— an examination of what happens when we bury the darkness within ourselves. That darkness becomes the soil through which evil can flower. That being said, I feel this song came from somewhere beyond my understanding and it has a deep and ineffable power when I hear it. Like a dream.”
